Good morning! I'm here. I keep getting notifications about views on this page and I hadn't quite gotten my words together until yesterday. I love to cook and bake. I love to cook and bake because I love PEOPLE and I want to see families come together and enjoy time together. That's the "why" for me, community. As my product increased in popularity, I have faced minor challenges as it comes to CocoBeans and I thought I would be transparent about a few of them this morning. 2 years ago, my business page was h@cked AND disabled after I linked it to my PayPal to run ads. They then attempted to access my bank account and remove money. As a result of this event, I lost over 1k followers and had to go look for all of you again 🫶 That was not easy. Sometime after this, a local bakery stole one of my flavors and passed it off as their own "latest and greatest" flavor. Burned me UP, but what can you do? I know that I know that I KNOW, I made that flavor up standing in MY OWN kitchen. With that being said, I will be offering Jalapeno Cream Cheese and Strawberry Jalapeno Cream Cheese King Cakes for the 4th year in a row 😘😉You know what they say, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. The last and most bothersome one for me is someone reported me to the health department during the 2024 King Cake Season. Not a customer, a local business. If you go read my reviews, my customers are HAPPY. There's just something about people throwing rocks and hiding their hands that will never sit right with me. Hating in secret is WEIRD. God has something for all of us, so the desire to yuck somebody else's yum is something I will never understand. Furthermore, my kitchen and entire home are cleaner than probably EVERY restaurant you have ever eaten in. You can look IN and UNDER my oven right now and it's spotless. Same for my refrigerator and pretty much the rest of my entire house. I am a clean person, I just am. I always have been and I always will be. I also find it incredibly insulting that the government thinks it's citizens aren't smart enough to know where to buy safe food products. I can think of MANY more situations that need the government's full undivided attention. King Cakes don't make that list at all, locally or federally. I want to bring yall ALL of the King Cake happiness this year, but it is going to look a little different. I love doing this, but I really have zero desire to try to grow it into anything bigger. Moving forward this year, I will not be taking preorders. I am going to bake one or two cakes a day and post what I have. I am so sorry if this doesn't work for some of you. I was thinking about possibly designating certain days for certain flavors so there would be some predictability about what is available. For instance, Monday-Praline King Cake, Tuesday-Strawberry Jalapeno, Wed-Chantilly, Thurs-Boudin, Fri-King Cake Rolls etc.... Thank you for understanding that I am just one woman, but a wife and mother FIRST. If you have any suggestions or comments to help me better serve you in 2025, I am all ears! A baking secret of mine is that I listen to praise and worship while I mix and knead dough. Yall know I like the simplicity of the undressed dough and often take pictures before I dress it up. Today when I took the pastry out of the oven I immediately heard a song in my spirit:

And I found myself singing and crying standing over two rugged Cross shaped pans of bread. The Blood and finished work of the Cross is what Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, is all about. My heart hurts for those that don't know the LOVE, peace, and safety of a relationship with the Father. Please surrender your heart to Him today, even if it's in pieces. He loves you even if you aren't able to believe that yet ❤️🙏
