Some people are not fighting demons.
They are grieving the Holy Spirit.

And what they keep calling “spiritual warfare” is sometimes the fruit of spiritual distance created by their own choices.

Because every time we consistently choose:
our will over His,
our plans over His presence,
our desires over obedience…

something becomes disconnected internally.

That’s the affair.

Scripture says:

“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God…” — Ephesians 4:30

And James 4 calls friendship with the world spiritual adultery.

Why?

Because anything we continually choose over intimacy with God eventually creates distance from Him.

And many people are exhausted rebuking devils while ignoring the places they’ve been resisting the Divine.

The confusion.
The restlessness.
The spiritual dryness.
The loss of peace.

Sometimes that’s not an attack.

Sometimes that’s the fruit of disconnect.

Especially for entrepreneurs, leaders, and visionaries carrying influence.

Because success becomes dangerous when ambition grows louder than obedience.

And the scary part is:
you can build something externally successful while becoming internally disconnected.

But sons build differently.

They protect intimacy with God more than image, achievement, or applause.

Because identity rooted in Christ does not force its own way.

It surrenders.

And honestly, some of you do not need another breakthrough.

You need repentance.

Prayer:
“Father, forgive me for every place I chose my will over Your presence. Heal the distance my choices created. Restore my peace, discernment, and intimacy with You. Teach me to build from surrender instead of striving. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

If this hit, comment ADOPTED and I’ll send you the Identity Assessment to uncover where striving, compromise, or disconnection may still be affecting your life and leadership.

And if you’re a founder, entrepreneur, executive, or visionary carrying significant responsibility—and you know your next level requires spiritual alignment, emotional wholeness, sustainable success, and deeper intimacy with God…
