I had the pleasure of photographing world renowned violinist, singer/songwriter and life coach Bruce Kirkwood earlier this year. Having traveled the world sharing his gift, he's performed for organizations and names such as the NBA, NFL, Oprah Winfrey Network, to name a few. Something I shot on a 115 degree June day where we all struggled to work in the heat!

On top of that every beige surface around us radiated it's own simmering heat. Never the less worth it because this art museum is something else. It was the perfect structural and geometrically dense backdrop for the model to contrast against. We kept the posing strong yet feminine to play with the shapes and lines the eyes see. I'm also a fan of very simplified color palettes that I think really add to the strength of the photo.
