Precision matters in every step of airway management.

During nasal intubation, we use a red rubber catheter to help guide the endotracheal tube through the nasal passage while reducing the risk of shearing trauma. It's a simple technique that helps create a smoother path for placement while protecting delicate airway structures.

At Lifeguard Anesthesia, attention to details like these is what allows us to safely integrate anesthesia into dental practices across Arizona—so your team can stay focused on delivering exceptional patient care while we handle the anesthesia.

If you're an oral surgeon, dentist, periodontist, or endodontist looking to bring IV sedation or general anesthesia into your practice, we'd love to show you how our mobile anesthesia team can become an extension of yours.

Why do we tape a patient's eyes during anesthesia?

Because when patients are under deep sedation or general anesthesia, they don't blink normally. Taping the eyes closed helps protect the cornea from drying out and reduces the risk of scratches or irritation during the procedure.

It's one of the many small details our CRNAs focus on to help keep patients safe and comfortable from start to finish.

Lifeguard Anesthesia provides mobile dental anesthesia for dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists, and endodontists across Arizona. Our team combines thorough pre-op planning with continuous patient monitoring and evidence-based anesthesia care, helping practices deliver safe, efficient treatment with confidence.
