Hey Madison, number No. 1 families: we hope you’re enjoying the summer☀️☀️☀️but guess what?? Back2school is right around the corner 📚🚌✏️Please be sure to save these dates. 📅📅 Also, your PTO will be at some of these events and we look forward to meeting you and telling you more about our scrappy little group of dedicated parents!!!

🍓 Madison School District will be participating in the Summer Food Service program, which provides FREE meals to children 18 years or younger. Children do NOT have to be enrolled in any summer program or at Madison Elementary School District to participate. No application or paperwork is required. Community members wishing to participate should report to the school office and be directed to the cafeteria. All meals must be consumed on-site and during meal times. Service is first come, first serve.

We are so grateful to all the parents that volunteered their time to coordinate events, contact local businesses, share their ideas and show up to help on campus. The PTO could not have done it without your support.

And a special shout out to Stacy Matz! She has been part of the Madison No. 1 community for the last four years and led the PTO throughout her time at the school. Stacy know the ins and outs of the school, has helped out with every event and been a inspiration to the new parent volunteers on campus.

The 7th & 8th Grade Spanish Immersion students had a Bomba workshop with this week!

The students had the opportunity to learn about this beautiful Puerto Rican tradition. The kids danced and played instruments too.
