Introducing our 2025-2026 Studio/LAB Resident artist: JP Alejandro

JP’s work is often described as emotionally resonant, layered, and communal. Audiences experience an interplay of intimacy and expansiveness—sometimes drawn into quiet, vulnerable moments, and other times immersed in collective energy. His work is both personal and universal, encouraging reflection on cultural identity, memory, and connection. It’s often described as poetic, physical, and interdisciplinary, combining rigorous movement with storytelling, ritual, and atmosphere.

Studio/LAB Resident Artists get a much longer residency experience, allowing more time to explore ideas and share their processes along the way. We are thrilled to have JP this fall, and can’t wait to host work-in-progress showings in the coming months.

Follow JP and for upcoming showings, workshops and feedback sessions!

ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: The Stevens
.rdno

Presenting both nights at the 2025 [nueWORK] Dance Festival at Third Street Theater

The Stevens are premiering their collaborative work titled: “No. 16 Just a Piece of Fabric” (an excerpt)

- This piece explores the ever changing landscape of how humans express themselves through clothing, specifically the blending of masculine and feminine. Both Stevens are also interested in exploring these themes through sound, referencing current pop music and its influence on expression. This being an excerpt, the final form of their evening length piece, will include storytelling and theatric elements to complete their vision.

Get your tickets to see The Stevens along with 14 more artists this weekend! Now available to purchase on our website and in our bio.
