Foundation for Blind Children

We sat down with one of our College Prep participants, Rae, to chat about her experience in the program so far!

Our year-round programming supports teens and young adults with visual impairments in building essential skills for life after high school.

Through summer residential experiences and weekend workshops, participants learn to live independently, explore careers, and prepare for college.

The program includes hands-on training in daily living, job readiness, and postsecondary planning, while also fostering leadership, self-advocacy, and confidence through mentorship and group activities!

Last week, the stage belonged to our students!

From start to finish, the FBC Talent Show was a showcase that the only thing limiting potential is the space we give it to grow.

Our students sang their hearts out, danced, played instruments, and showed up with real confidence!
