This Pride Month, we recognize Kado Stewart, founder of Camp OUTdoors and Vice President of Programs & Strategy at one n ten, for creating a space where LGBTQ+ youth and young adults are met with encouragement, acceptance, and community. 🌈

For years, one•n•ten has provided affirming programs, resources, and community for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults across Arizona; creating spaces where young people can feel safe, celebrated, and embraced for who they truly are. Through Camp OUTdoors, Kado has built a community rooted in belonging, connection, and self-confidence, giving young people the opportunity to show up fully as themselves while building life-long friendships and memories. 🌟

Kados’s leadership continues to remind us how impactful safe, affirming spaces can be for the next generation. ❤️

AAPI Heritage Month is a time to celebrate voices like Shela Yu, whose murals and music across the Valley amplify culture, community, and visibility. 🖼️

A Phoenix-based multidisciplinary artist, Shela transforms public spaces into powerful narratives rooted in identity, heritage, and healing. From large-scale murals to her soulful music practice, her work bridges cultures and creates space for AAPI stories to be seen and felt. 🥰

With every wall and project, she continues to build connections, inspire community, and redefine representation across Arizona. And through her music, a soothing mix of soul, jazz, and R&B, she continues that same work of resilience, storytelling, and healing.🔨
