🐍 Did you know a Common Kingsnake can imitate a rattlesnake?

When threatened, kingsnakes may hiss, vibrate their tails in dry leaves, and mimic a rattlesnake's rattle to convince predators to stay away, even though they're nonvenomous.

This fascinating reptile is the featured species in our July Eco-Blitz Challenge.

🚗 Plan for extra travel time...this is one of our busiest events of the year.
🧹 Help keep the park beautiful by taking everything you bring with you when you leave.
