A family that is near and dear to my heart

People that allow me take their photos are more than just “clients” to me.. they are my best friends, my biggest supporters, my therapist and sometimes I am theirs

Perfect

Perfect is a word that has so many different levels and meanings to so many people.

For me, it describes most weddings that I am able to be apart of. Not in the typical way that you may think.

Perfect in a way that you are able to get ready with your built in best friend & brother and dance while you shine your shoes and open the door to great the photographer you haven’t even met before.

Perfect in a way that your mother is able to place your necklace around your neck and close the clasp with her hands that once held you when nothing else in the world mattered to her, but you.

Perfect in the way that your father is able to turn around and be the first man to see you as beautiful as can be before he hands you off to be a new man’s baby girl.

Perfect in the way how everyone can hear the brides giggle from seeing a certain photo of her face scrunched up from pure joy.

Perfect in a way that I am able to share a comforting silence with two souls as they bare themselves and most intimate thoughts to each other before becoming one and hearing the giggles and seeing the tears that roll off their cheeks.

Perfect in a way that their childlike giddi-ness is on display for their family and friends to witness firsthand.

Perfect in a way that a grandmother is able to see her 4th generation grandbaby grow out of love and compassion.

I could go on and on and on about how perfect this day was but I’ll stop here and wish a life of love, blessings and sooo much happiness to the newly wed Forte family, cheers to you guys and thank you so much for having me along on this perfect, perfect day.
