Jesus Christ! Literally! This was done on a very cool client. He had some mature skin that had the funnest life ever being out in the sun, riding motorcycles, being a professional stunt man, and so on and so forth. Because his skin had such a productive and joyous life, the skin pigment and texture is a bit uneven, which will certainly require a touch up in a couple of months to smooth it out and resaturate some areas. We are all so fortunate to get to age and see our skin do that same. It sure beats the other option!

Hi! I finished this beautiful floral sleeve on the amazing Kate a couple of weeks ago. I love the precise nature of pointillism (tiny little dots that make variations of black and gray). This whole tattoo was done with a super tight bigpin 3 liner (same width as a single needle).

Wonderful news to share! Locket Tattoo is officially a tattoo shop! I’ve moved from my private studio in midtown to a beautiful retro 1970’s building in SunnySlope, Uptown Phoenix!

I’ve been tattooing there the entire time all while moving in. It should be ready for an official grand opening in the next couple of weeks as I’m waiting on signage and some furniture installations.

It’s so exciting to share this with everyone. Tattooing has been a very interesting journey getting to the ownership of my very own shop. I’ll post more about this as we near the official opening of Locket Tattoo!

Added some final highlights on this portrait of my clients late sweet sweet dog. What a baby. I love the concept of this with her adult self and her reflection being that of her puppy self. This pulls on my heart strings.
