Last week, Brother Fredrick Del Pelcio, AMT/Inspector for American Airlines in PHL, retired with 29 years of service. His fellow members honored him for his professionalism and solidarity with a party that included many gifts such as a beautiful cake, a personalized IAM watch, and an IAM retirement pin which Brother Frank Gambino placed on his lapel. Congratulations, Brother Fredrick. We hope this next chapter in your life is the best one yet.

On July 9, 2026, IAM Union District 142 General Chair Todd Roan, along with International Representative Jorge Bonilla, Director of Education Al Melendez, and Educator Ozzie Gomez, traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to conduct a training program and swear in first-ever Delegates (Shop Stewards) and Sub-Delegates of Lufthansa Technik.
We are excited to witness their enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to learning the skills necessary to effectively support and protect our members. We are confident they will embody the solidarity, strength, and values that District 142 proudly represents.
