A powerful day of collaboration and generosity in Flagstaff!
Nearly a dozen fundholders and community partners came together for Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff Horse-Trading event, helping direct $1.8 million in grants to local nonprofits. One inspired participant also contributed an additional $50,000 gift to Habitat for Humanity of Northern Arizona.
With nearly 140 applications submitted through Flagstaff’s grant cycle, this support will make a meaningful difference across the region. We’re grateful to everyone who participated, including members of our Flagstaff and Sedona Regional Boards of Advisors, and to the Geile family for representing four generations of generosity.
This is what happens when people come together to support the communities they call home.
ACF’s Environmental Accelerator is bringing organizations from across Arizona together to find common ground and work in new ways.
In this video, Ben Thomas, Senior Philanthropic Advisor at ACF, reflects on the deep collaboration happening through the Accelerator and what it means to bring community leaders, nonprofit partners, and donors into the same conversation.
From sharing challenges to learning from one another, the Accelerator is creating space for new ideas and stronger relationships to take shape.
