Anemone is a fitting name for this pretty little wildflower. 🌼 While not the easiest name to pronounce, it sure does suit her. 🥰

This girl is all of 45 pounds and two years old. She’s fun and spunky and seems to enjoy the company of humans of all ages. Sometimes she’s a little distracted with everything going on, but in a more relaxed environment we know she’s a total doll baby❣️

Anemone has been waiting for someone to pick her since September! She’d love for 2024 to be her year. ✨

Anemone is not looking to share her home with other animals at this time. ✴️

Ximena makes falling in love easy. 🥰❤️🫶🏽

Ximena gives love freely. She’s enthusiastic about getting affection and attention! It’s a shame she’s been waiting for a home two months at the shelter, because it’s so clear she really just wants a person to love! As soon as she is out of her kennel, all she really wants is to adore you and be adored!

Ximena was found stray with a large male dog who has since been adopted. We don’t know very much about her preferences with other animals beyond that, but a nice slow introduction is always smart when it comes to integrating a new pet!

Ximena is about 5 years old and 60 pounds

Roommate feature: meet Slugger and Fig ❣️ Two adoptable boys looking for homes to call their own! They are currently sharing a kennel at the West shelter, and they are ready to be adopted!

Slugger is a personality packed puppy! He can be a little pesty with his role model, Fig, but he means well! Thankfully Fig seems to tolerate him for now, and if he goes to a home with another dog, it would be awesome if it was another tolerant buddy to keep showing him the ropes! Walking on leash is new for Slugger, and he’s eager about all things fun — like treats and play! Slugger is the smaller tan boy. He’s believed to be about a year old and he’s under 30 pounds!

Fig is a little more reserved, sort of the strong and silent type. 🖤 But we think he may be starting to warm up a little more! He will want his new family to give him time and space to feel comfortable while he adjusts to his new life. He has been been calm and easy to walk on leash. Fig is estimated to be 2 years old, and he’s about 55 pounds.

Fig and Slugger do not need to be adopted together at this time! Sometimes buddies like to stay together and sometimes they enjoy starting fresh with families of their own to fit into. 💟 Meet them yourself and see if either or both would be a fir for you!

WE HAVE BIG NEWS ‼ We loved our Turkey Taster event so much, we decided to do it again! From Dec. 13-24, you can foster select dogs from our shelters to give them a break from kennel life and to hopefully find them a new home for the new year. 🥳

Come down to either of our shelters during our business hours to pick up any of our dogs marked as "Paw-liday Pups" and foster them this winter. We need your help to find them forever homes!

If you're interested but have never fostered, you will need to apply online!
