I've put on about 20 pounds since the pic on the left was taken. I'm so much happier, healthier, and more at peace in the picture on the right. I never, ever want to get out of bed at 430 in the morning to hit the gym before an 8-10 hour workday but I force myself to do it because the struggle is worth it. Thanks for changing my life - he's not paying or encouraging me to post this, this is from the heart.

Day to day, I nitpick the changes in my body but when I zoom out and look at the trend, it makes me proud of what I've accomplished in the last year.

My fitness journey has been interrupted by the occasional illness, injuries developed from years of not eating or working out correctly, and sometimes just plain old lack of motivation stemming from being depressed & inconsistent for most of last year. Those setbacks are frustrating but I'm learning that it's all part of the journey. It's way easier to destroy than it is to build and it turns out that there's a lot of value in consistency.
