For some University of Arizona Health Sciences researchers and students, every day is the day of women and girls in science through their participation in the KEYS Research Internship and other campus outreach programs. Engaging girls in science, engineering, technology and math when they are young and encouraging them as they hit middle and high school is a big step toward keeping the women-in-STEM pipeline flowing.
