🤜🏽🤛🏽Posted • Hello Friends! ✊
We have adjusted our event days and times to accommodate where our neighbors are living unsheltered and the community doing the distribution of shared items!

We need your help now, more than ever. The kops that run the government on this stolen land have been very successful at destroying people’s things, but there are still thousands of mature, intelligent and caring people living outside in the Zone, and everywhere in this valley.

Help cooking and cleaning every Wednesday in the kitchen is greatly appreciated by all the community sharing meals each week.

We love your mutual-aid! Want to cook a meal for the community to share? Do you have things to share? Bring them to one of our events, or hand them directly to someone living outside in your neighborhood.

We are working to de-commodify our work and we really really like material goods that we can directly share. What is something you can produce for free or cheap? Do you have access to an evergreen source of any daily life items? We can use them. Maybe you can produce herbs on your counter-top. Maybe you like to dumpster-dive, maybe your work has food or items that your capitalist exploiters mandate you must throw out!? We want them! We live in a time of abundance, and helping each other connect to readily available resources is very important to building something long term and sustainable.

There are a million ways to pitch-in, but the best way is labor. Labor is how we build something for all of us, it will not be given to us, we must labor to build it. Labor can be behind the scenes on a computer, or can be in the park sharing with friends.

There are lots of ways to be involved, let us know if you have other ideas, we rely on creative input! 💜💜

Writing a holiday caption is difficult with the current everyday suffering and innocent lives lost in Palestine as well as instability, poverty, & hunger many of us are going through here at home.

Escribir un título navideño es difícil con el sufrimiento cotidiano actual y las vidas inocentes perdidas en Palestina, así como con la inestabilidad, la pobreza y el hambre que muchos de nosotros estamos atravesando aquí en casa.

In 2023 the Metro Phoenix area experienced the longest streak of high temperatures in recorded history. Now as temperatures fall Phoenix’s unhoused community face a challenge of a different kind, the cold.

Our unhoused neighbors not only just experienced record high extreme heat that resulted in heat related deaths throughout the Phoenix metro area, displacement from The Zone, and now they have to gear up and prepare for our cold Arizona winters.

StreetMed Phoenix is welcoming donations check out their page for more details, and if you have any ideas or suggestions let us know in the comments.

Reposted • With the cold weather approaching, we are open to any and all donations of cold relief supplies! Gloves, hats, hand warmers, and more are all appreciated. DM us or reach out via email to lend a hand!
