Protective orders and confidentiality provisions around the use of Generative AI (GenAI) in discovery are beginning to surface—but remain far from standard practice.

Tonight’s reception welcomed participants ahead of the Working Group 13 Midyear Meeting, providing a relaxed setting to mark the start of this important gathering. It was an opportunity to set a positive tone for the sessions to come.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us this evening and contributed to such an engaging start. Tomorrow marks the official opening of the WG13 Midyear Meeting, where the focus will turn to the dialogue and collaboration that continue to advance the group’s progress in shaping understanding and standards at the intersection of AI and law.
