Phoenix Pipe Band

☘️ What a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day weekend stop in Sedona! The Phoenix Pipe Band was honored to march in Sedona’s St. Patrick’s Day parade and share some music afterward at Mooney's Irish Pub & Naughty Burger Bar. With blue skies, red rocks, and a lively crowd, it was a beautiful day to celebrate Irish heritage and bring the sound of the pipes and drums to such an iconic Arizona setting.
Now the band is back on the road and heading south to Maricopa for our 6:00 PM casino performances. It’s a full day of music and miles, and we’re grateful for everyone who came out to support us in Sedona.
Next stop… Maricopa! ☘️🥁🎶
🎉 Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! 🎶
Kicking off 2026 is Aaron, the youngest piper in our band!
We’re excited to welcome the next generation of players and are on the lookout for young pipers to join our Grade 5 and Grade 3 bands in 2026. If you’re ready to build your skills and be part of something special, we’d love to hear from you.
Here’s to a year of great music ahead! 🥳

The Phoenix Pipe Band had a strong showing at the the Desert Branch - Western United States Pipe Band Association Piping Weekend Band Contest Today at the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library. The Grade 5 band took the first place win while playing alongside our friends from Glendale Pipes and Drums and the Hugh O’Connor Pipe Band. Patrick Towey earned Grade 2 Piper of the Day and Aaron Crosser earned Grade 4 Piper of the Day. A great pre-season chance for the band and our soloists to gather helpful feedback and carry fresh energy into the season ahead.
