We're digging, for dogs’ sake! 🦴

This morning, Chair Kate Brophy McGee, Vice Chair Debbie Lesko, Mayor Jerry Weiers - Glendale, AZ and many others helped to break ground on the future site of our new West Valley animal shelter!

This state-of-the-art campus is designed with every pup in mind with more than 600 kennels and 18 play yards. It will also feature a "mutt-ternity" ward for when dogs are found with a litter of puppies, a natural walking path along New River, a grooming room, low stimulation housing and play yards for shy and fearful dogs and a photo studio so all adoptable pets can put their best paw forward in their online profiles. 🐕‍🦺

Coming May 2028 to Glendale.
