Two of the sweetest little survivors you’ll ever meet are officially looking for their forever families.

Mango and Plum are two of the six puppies we rescued alongside their incredibly emaciated mama from the reservation. Despite the rough start they had in life, these puppies have never stopped wagging their tails or soaking up every bit of love they’ve been shown.

Now healthy, thriving, and full of puppy energy, they’re ready to start the next chapter of their lives with families of their own. They love to play, explore, cuddle, and then curl up for a well earned nap. Like all puppies, they’ll need continued training, patience, and lots of love but they’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, companionship and laughter.

Watching them transform from fragile little babies into happy, confident puppies has been incredible. Now all they need is a place to call home.

Remember pregnant Mama (Candy) that we rescued from the reservation on July 8th? She gave birth to these three precious boys at our shelter 🥹

They’re thriving, growing bigger every day, just opened their eyes, and already have the cutest little chubby puppy bellies! While they’re still nursing with Mom, they’ll be transitioning to Purina Pro Plan Puppy food in the coming weeks.

In preparation for their transition to wet food and then kibble we are having a name the puppies + feed the puppies contest! We’re requesting Purina Pro Plan Puppy food (wet or dry) only so all three puppies can stay on the same consistent, high quality diet. Feeding one trusted brand helps support healthy digestion and gives them the best possible start as they transition from Mom’s milk to puppy food.

Now they need your help finding the perfect names!

🤎 Could Duffy be your brown eyed girl?! 🌸

Meet Duffy! The Sweetest Little Lab Mix Youll Ever Meet!

If you met Duffy without knowing her medical history, you would never guess she has a heart condition.

Duffy was born with a congenital heart defect called pulmonic stenosis. It sounds scary, but the most important thing to know is this: it doesnt slow her down one bit. She runs, plays, wrestles with her dog friends, and lives every day like the happy, carefree pup she is.

Her recent visit with the cardiologist brought encouraging news. Her heart condition has actually improved slightly since her last evaluation. She is not in heart failure, does not need daily heart medication, and surgery is not recommended. Her cardiologist expects her condition to remain stable now that she is fully grown. She will simply need a yearly cardiology recheck so her heart can continue to be monitored.

Is there some added risk because of her heart? Yes. She does have a higher risk than a dog without a heart condition, and we always want to be honest about that. But today, Duffy is living a full, active, joyful life and we believe she deserves a person/family who sees her for so much more than her diagnosis ♥️

And let us tell you about the real Duffy.

She is a petite Lab mix (30-40lbs) with the biggest heart in every way that matters. She is unbelievably sweet, gentle, and loving. Every single person who meets her falls in love. Even the veterinary staff cant help but adore her every time she visits.

Her greatest passion in life? TOYS! If theres a toy nearby, Duffy is the happiest girl on the planet. Fetch it, squeak it, carry it around proudly she is completely obsessed. She also loves playing with other dogs and gets along wonderfully with everyone she meets.

Duffy isn’t seeking someone looking for a perfect dog. She needs someone who understands that perfection comes in many forms and that sometimes the dogs with a few extra challenges love the hardest. 🦄
