Throw back to May 2026 Mother's Day. We finally made it to Isla del Mar in the daylight. Sadly, they wouldn't allow us to explore scenery along the paved trail through the golf course ⛳, but we had a lovely Mother's Day brunch buffet. My baby made his first attempt at baking a tres leches cake 🍰 for me. It was delicious! He knows it's my favorite. My precious first born is surviving brain cancer and I thank God for his life! My children are my reason for breathing, my heart, my soul, my flesh, my blood, my everything!

Amazing night yesterday watching Seong Jin Cho at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles with my son. What can I say? We do Christmas differently. 🤷🏽‍♀️😅 It was so cool to see this part of him on a whole other level. I obviously know he's into playing piano, but I never knew just how much he was into Chopin and classical compositions in general. He's actually very knowledgeable and knows the melodies well, anticipating transitions and on point with each changing rhythm. What a delight for a mother to see her child emerge and be inspired by his passions, and to see him mature so beautifully. He has always been adverse to any formal wear or even button up top. He is very specific and limited in what he likes to wear. He knew this time the occasion called for it and he was pleasantly surprised about how he felt in his suit. My babies are both so very, very handsome!
