Some rescues take hours, but we don’t quit 🧡

A huge shoutout to one of our Animal Cruelty and Rescue Team members (Andy) & an incredible volunteer (Greg) who worked alongside to save two kittens trapped nearly 15 feet down a storm drain over the weekend.

After hours of prying from the Chandler Fire Department and city crews, the rusted-shut drain still wouldn’t budge. Our team refused to quit on the rescue, got creative, and safely brought both kittens to the surface. The finder that originally called our team chose to keep the kittens!

Thank you to the Chandler Fire Department, the City of Chandler crews and Andy and Greg from our team for refusing to give up on these tiny lives. 🐱🧡
