A little throwback Thursday showing how the rear frame is done on the dually. The factory frame is stepped up to clear the axle with no need for a frame notch. This makes room for the four link and also allows the factory bed floor to be bolted down just like factory. All the frame plates are boxed and doubled with 1/4 inch. This setup has been by far the best I’ve done on one of these trucks.

I’ve been working on this little sculpture for a couple days now. It’s a 5 inch intake tube that splits off into two 4 inch tubes with dual filters for a sand car. The car was already tight for space before the new giant super charger was added. I had to do some creative things to get the tube to flow where it needed to go. It should suck pretty good though.

Getting the air management layout dialed in. Few more adjustments to make and it will be ready to weld.
