Groundbreaking for Chepa’s Micro Market

Last Friday, November 7, we proudly celebrated the groundbreaking of Chepa’s Micro Market in Tucson, AZ — a milestone project that will bring new opportunities for food access, education, and community growth to the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.

Set to open in December 2026, Chepa’s Micro Market will be the first of its kind — featuring a culinary classroom and a fully equipped commercial kitchen integrated with the market’s food retail spaces. This unique concept will serve as both a gathering place and a learning hub, empowering the community through food, culture, and collaboration.

We’re honored to be part of this meaningful initiative, designed by Merge Architectural Group and built by Concord Construction. Together, we’re creating more than just a market — we’re building a foundation for community connection and growth.
