Today, the Maricopa County Medical Society joins our community in honoring Juneteenth — a day that celebrates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward equality.

We are proud of our physician members who carry this spirit forward by championing health equity, supporting underserved communities, and ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and valued.

Thank you to the physicians who continue to make a difference through compassionate care and unwavering advocacy.

👍Thank you to all who attended Menopause Made Simple: What Every Physician Needs to Know, whether you joined us in person or virtually. Your participation and engagement helped make this CME event a valuable learning experience for our physician community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Nacchal Nachiappan, MD - Build Health MD and Gauri Behari, MD, for their outstanding work as facilitators and co‑hosts. Their guidance and clinical insight shaped a thoughtful, evidence‑based conversation that supported physicians in providing better patient care.

Maricopa County Medical Society is grateful to physicians continued dedication to advancing patient care, and we look forward to welcoming more physicians to future educational events.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the MCMS Physician Community Stakeholder Forum. With more than 40 attendees in person and 25 participating via Zoom, the strong turnout reflects our community’s commitment to elevating physician voices and strengthening healthcare collaboration across Arizona.

We extend our sincere appreciation to U.S. Congressman Representative Greg Stanton, State Senator Lauren Kuby, and State Representative Sarah Liguori for attending in person and engaging directly with our physicians. We also thank the additional state and federal representatives like Oscar de Los Santos, Priya Sundareshan, and Brian Fernandez who joined virtually, as well as Arizona's Attorney General, Kris Mayes who participated by phone to listen to physician concerns.

MCMS remains dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue and building partnerships that support a healthier future for Maricopa County.
