Fellow producers!

If you're on windows and having serious issues connecting touchAble, I've found a way to get it working!

1) Uninstall touchable COMPLETELY and delete the script folder located (usually) in "*HD*\Program Files\Ableton\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts"

2) Verify you have the latest versions of iTunes and Bonjour (v2.0.2.0) - Bonjour is NOT included in iTunes anymore

3) install the OLD version of touchable (v3.0.2) and install the scripts. Be proactive and save the folder it creates in your "*HD*\Program Files\Ableton\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts" to a safe place.

If you accidentally run the scripts from touchable 3.3.1 you will need to start over!

4) Uninstall touchable completely, leave old scripts

5) Install the NEWEST touchable version (v3.3.1), *DO NOT RUN SCRIPTS*

I've had my copy working like this for a few days now - both wifi and usb work.

Upon inspection of the scripts the new version installs, it appears they're LITERALLY MISSING half of the files compared to the old version!

It's a real shame this hasn't been addressed and this fix literally took me an entire night of fu***ng with it.... I sincerely it hopes for you too!

Based on my research, it seems the company behind touchable has taken off and have no plans on updating or supporting the software we invested in... which is especially sad because the software is actually pretty damn good...

If mine STOPS working, I'll be sure to update below!
