Well, 8 down 5 to go. Steel Challenge divisions, that is. Now, with Rio Solado offering Steel challenge matches, it might just go quicker. Can I justify the 120 mile round trip?

The Goal? The "13 Club". The reason? Just because. The current standing? 5 RFRO, PCCO, LTD SS, and ISR. Projected progress? 3 more in June. OSR, PROD, and RFRI. Completion? End of September. Follow the progress here. BTW, I don't care how high I get classified, just that I do.

To all who shoot the Steel Challenge with a Rimfire Rifle. Things are heating up at the WSSC. There are some AWESOME shooters there. My friend, and overall good guy, Trenton Mitsouka, shot his RFRO to a blistering time of 68.86. And he is sitting in 5th place. 5th! With a 68.86! Holy crap, these folks are fast!

Well, according to the official Steel Challenge rating system, the score necessary to attain Master ranking with a Pistol Caliber Carbine is a total time for all 8 stages of less than 91.76 seconds. Bob's latest, best scores total 91.67, Congratulations. Bob, for attaining a master rating with the PCC! (note, Steel Challenge has not yet posted results from the August 20 Cactus Match League match, where he shot the necessary scores to obtain this total.But, Bob can add and subtract, lol. ) Next goal; under 82 seconds total for Grand Master., Those 10 seconds are going to be a challenge.
