Today, on HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day, we honor the strength, resilience, and courage of those who have lived through decades of the HIV epidemic.

Long-term survivors have witnessed tremendous change, overcome unimaginable challenges, and continue to inspire us with their perseverance and advocacy. Their stories remind us why community, connection, and support matter.

At Aunt Rita’s, we are proud to support long-term survivors through our Experienced Escapades program, a monthly social gathering designed for adults 50+ living with HIV. Experienced Escapades provides opportunities to build friendships, reduce isolation, and create meaningful connections in a welcoming and supportive environment.

As we recognize HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day, we celebrate the individuals whose lives and experiences have shaped the fight against HIV and continue to strengthen our community every day.
