Who's acceptance are you trying to gain?

Why are you concerned about what others think of you?

It may be that you are a rejection ju**ie. In my book, "Rejection Ju**ies" I wrote the poem titled The Tap Dancer. Here are just a few lines for you.

Tap dancing on the table tops of other people's lives,
A Rejection Ju**ie's 'Performance Trip,' that's how he thrives.
He says: "Let me entertain you. Let me be your friend.
Let me prove to all of you that liking me is "in."
I can do the shuffle, I can do the swing.
I'll do the boogie-woogie and for you, I'll even sing!
I'll go for you, I'll do for you anything you want.
I just need to gain acceptance, how's that for being blunt?"

Happy Day After Valentines Day!
Go buy some candy half off. Smile. Enjoy today and look forward to tomorrow.

However...let's do some retrospect. Did yesterday stir up "all the feels"? Did you experience everything from anger to joy, fear to inferiority, inadequacy to insecurity, love to hate, hurt to numbness?

You might have a lot of 'stuff' going on there. So what do you do? What is happening? Why can't you just be happy? Am I ever going to understand peace and contentment?

It is possible to figure out all the answers to those questions...you gotta get to the root cause. Stop looking at the symptoms. Are you ready to put in a little hard work, ok maybe a lot - depends on you.
