OUR TAKE: On our five year anniversary, I’d like to thank you for visiting The Radical Independent. With your help, we are becoming a premium independent-thinking source to challenge the duopoly and boost the overall independent voter movement. Please continue to like, follow, share, and comment to help get the word out! We’ve built a nice little community, promoting civil discourse and trying to avoid the typical partisan political squabbles. Here, it’s all about advocating for change, to dump the corrupt and rigged duopoly and restore sanity to the civic landscape.

It’s a tough space. Real election and political reform is a non-issue for most partisans and barely a blip in the media landscape. Being nonpartisan, we take grief from all sides. We could get a lot more follows if we picked a side and played into the tribal emotionalism and dysfunction, but that’s not what we’re about. In the intensely toxic partisan political environment, it’s a radical move to be independent!

So five years in, thanks again for your support. We are truly at a crossroads… we can continue down the doomed path of a broken duopoly or we can put our foot down and say “ENOUGH!” And I’ll say it again… if you haven’t done so yet, please hit the follow button so the algorithms do their job and we build this movement to reset the system to ‘we the people.’
