At yesterday’s meditation, Melissa took us through an exercise to help forgive and love ourselves. This practice also helps when you are tension with another person. It clears the negative energy so that love can flow through.

Think about the version of yourself that you want to heal. You as a child, young adult, last year…envision yourself. If doing this for another person envision that person. Place your right hand on your heart then your left on top of your right.
Say:
I am sorry *this has happened.
Please for give me *for my part.
Thank you *for being a part of my life.
I love you.
*try to be more specific to your situation.

Repeat this until you feel a peace come over. It is life changing.

Don’t miss next month’s meditation, April 24th at 2pm.

There is nothing wrong with who you are, with the core of your being.

In my active addiction I lost connection of who I was. The alcohol numbed my ability to connect with myself, my higher power, and others. This made me believe the lie that there was something wrong with me.

Today, I know who I am and whos I am. Everyday I get to work on being the person I was meant to be. It takes work on my part. It takes God’s love and grace. It takes time.

If you are ready to embrace your true self, I am ready to walk that journey along side you.
