Ba Buey Khlak Ti: Moklen crispy pork belly curry with coconut cream and makrut lime leaf. While the Moklen are predominately a seafaring people, they pride themselves on the quality of their pork as villagers allow the pigs to run free range. Everybody in the village takes care of them.
Yai Lap, the wonderful lady we stay with when we visit the Moklen, loved her pig “Ee-Dok” so much that she refused to sell it. She even slept outside to be near her.
