Year-End Small Business Accounting Checklist
1. Get all of your business transactions into Quickbooks and coded for the year.
2. Complete your bank and credit card reconciliations to make sure the data ties to your statements.
3. Review the data produced by reports, especially in comparison to your prior year. Does anything seem off?
4. Start reviewing payments you made to vendors and prepare for the upcoming 1099 filing deadline in January.
5. Provide your accounting to your tax accountant so they can prepare your income tax projection!
