At A for Arizona, we believe that innovation looks different for all our grantees! You can see that through each of our unique . Midtown Primary Elementary, located in the Phoenix-metro area, has successfully implemented a simple and cost-effective solution to ensure the safety and punctuality of their students' commutes.

Introducing a “walking school bus” has provided a supervised and secure means for students residing within a few blocks of the school to walk to school each day. This innovative approach has alleviated the concerns of parents, enabling them to maintain employment while ensuring their children's safe and timely arrival at school. Kids look forward to walking to school with their friends and peers! The result? Lower rates of absenteeism, improved academic performance, and time with their friends before and after school!
