One year ago I told a man I hardly knew that I couldn’t stop thinking about him. We were acquaintances for years, turned recent friends. I didn’t know if he was in a relationship or if he was even interested, but I didn’t care because I didn’t want anything from him- I just knew I had to tell him how I felt. (His jaw-dropped and had no words lol)

Fast forward 1 year he’s my best friend and greatest partner. I smile more, stress less, and push myself to be a better person every day because of this man.

The universe works in magical ways.

Ladies, sometime you just gotta set aside societal norms and put yourself out there to get what you want. And be okay with the possibility of rejection. Best decision I ever made🖤
