A year ago today I lost someone who I love and who was very important in my life; my abuelita Mamá Aida. (my grandmother). 🕊 I miss her dearly and I wish I had more time in my adulthood with her. I seriously would give anything to be able to talk to her and see her one more time. There’s not a day I don’t think about her. I know she is with me everyday but I just wished she was still here.. However I’m forever thankful with God for giving me the opportunity to share memories with her. I will cherish those memories forever in my heart. ❤️🙏🏼🤍

As you all may know this candle was made in her honor, I wanted to honor her love and her
memory… Memories Of You captures the serene beauty of a field of lilacs in peak bloom. My grandma’s favorites flowers were French lilacs.

Historically, candle lighting is symbolic in nature and pays honor to the departed soul or is done when we want to make a special remembrance. My hope when creating this candle was that it will brings you memories of your departed loved ones. Losing someone is never easy but I hope it brings light, comfort, healing, hope, and love to you. 🙏🏼✨

If you have a grandparent near or far make sure they know they are loved. And always remember to be grateful for your life, be grateful for the people in your life, don’t take the ones you have today for granted, you never know when it will be their last goodbye..
