Artists owned and operated labels are the wave right now you can’t tell me different. The current climate is showing how important it is to have support by the biggest artists in the game. Contrary to belief it’s ALWAYS been that way but the scene operated differently with how music was distributed. Artist owned labels weren’t as prevalent and being independent wasn’t nearly as easy as it is today. These labels are the ones creating fresh and new opportunities for upcoming artists at a scale only these bigger artists are capable of creating.
