In a rushed world, s l o w is medicine.

In TCM, moving gently and living with intention nourishes the body deeply. It supports better digestion, soothes the nervous system, restores hormone balance, calms inflammation, and strengthens immunity. When we slow down, qi flows with ease ~~~

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Liver governs the smooth flow of qi, stores blood, and helps us process emotions - especially frustration, stress, and the weight we carry from the day.

Waking during the Liver hours (1 to 3am) isn’t random. A sweet nudge that something within needs attention.

Maybe your body is asking for less stimulation and more warmth.
Maybe it’s holding on to stress that hasn’t had space to move.
Maybe it’s simply tired of being on high alert.

What to do?
Slow your evenings. Drink something bitter and grounding.
Rub Liver 3. Write down what you’re still carrying.
Let the body know it’s safe to rest!

Sometimes, the wakeup is the message đź’«

Sigh on purpose! Wear (and eat) the color green! Drink chrysanthemum tea in the sun! Go on aimless walks with no phone, no agenda! Use acupressure on Liver 3 and Large Intestine 4! Practice eye rest by covering your eyes with warm hands! Dance in your kitchen! Stretch like you mean it! Shake it out! Journal your irritations then burn the page! Swap scrolling for staring at trees! Add something sour to your plate like lemon, vinegar, or pickled anything! Say what you need to say! Cry a little! Nap on the floor! Your Liver will thank you ❤️
