Nine years ago in June of 2017 we launched a company called Room Shop Vintage. Dryw and I painstakingly built sets and photographed vintage in the back bedroom of our house (hence “Room Shop”) and posted to sell on Instagram, hosting periodic pop ups (again in our back bedroom). It was a different world, a different brand but the DNA is the same. Whimsical things to wear that reclaim the girlhood joy of playing dress up but this time with comfort at the forefront. For those who have been here since day 1 - can you believe it’s been 9 years?? What are your earliest Room Shop memories? Ok I know we keep our store hours vague and there is a good reason for this I swear (it’s bc we are a studio not a street location so no foot traffic, plus we use the studio for production so sometimes it’s not a store at all but a factory) but guess what - you can always shoot a message to set an appointment to shop! We are located in S Philadelphia and I live close by so opening up is a breeze and there’s no pressure to buy. So if you find yourself in the neighborhood shoot a dm if I can accommodate I will!
