Former UTSA forward Baboucarr Njie has committed to Temple, he announced on Instagram Monday afternoon. He spent two seasons with the Roadrunners and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

The Dayton, Ohio native averaged 9.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks this season. He shot 46.2% from the field but struggled from beyond the arc, going just 2-31 on three-point attempts. Njie’s best game of the season came in UTSA’s 70-64 loss to Temple on Jan. 24. He scored 25 points on 10-18 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds. Njie topped 20 points four other times this season.

Former Texas Southern University guard Taliyah Logwood committed to Temple, she announced on social media Saturday afternoon. She is the Owls’ third transfer portal addition alongside guard Shayla Smith and center Timya Grice, who both committed on April 11.

Logwood played her freshman year at Utah State in 2024-25 where she recorded 9.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. She transferred to Texas Southern for the 2025-26 campaign for a larger role.

The five-foot, 10-inch guard started all 30 games for the Tigers and delivered 14.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals. She earned HBCU All-American First team and All-Southwestern Athletic Conference honors.

She joins the Owls’ backcourt that lost four of their six guards from the 2025-26 season. The transfer portal closed April 20; Temple now rosters nine players with six spots to fill.
