This Saturday, June 20th from 8:30AM to 12:30PM, My office will be collaborating with City Councilman Anthony Phillips and Senator Art Haywood’s offices for a special homeownership conference at West Oak Lane Charter School!
This conference is geared towards making sure our homeowners are prepared and aware of the various resources available from the city, state, and community organizations.

For our Second Week Pride Month, I want to spotlight another person who has truly inspired me James Baldwin. A true LGBTQIA+ Hero!
James Baldwin was a writer whose work advocated for justice, civil rights, and equality for all. His work always exemplified what it meant to be your true courageous self.I want to not only thank him for his work but also thank him for speaking up when not many would! So glad his literature still lives on today so that his legacy and his story is still alive for future generations to read.📕📚

My Barber’s Examiners Board Bill, HB 1646, has unanimously passed out of the Pennsylvania Senate Consumer Protection & Professional Licensure Committee! 💈🙌🏾
This is an exciting step forward, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and advocacy that have helped bring us to this point. HB 1646 is about creating opportunities, supporting workforce development, empowering small businesses, and strengthening entrepreneurship throughout the Commonwealth.
Now, the next step is passage on the Senate floor before the bill can reach the Governor’s desk. Your voice continues to make a difference. If you haven’t already, please consider reaching out to your State Senator and asking them to support HB 1646. Using the link in my bio!!🤲🏾

To kick off Pride Month, I want to spotlight someone who has truly inspired me Bayard Rustin. Born right here in our great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!
Rustin was a visionary civil rights activist whose courage, leadership, and dedication helped shape history. His work often happened behind the scenes, but his influence can still be felt today.I want to not only thank him for his work but also thank his family and those who continue to honor his legacy and keep his story alive for future generations.🤲🏾
