250 Years Black in America Grand Opening Exhibition
A Celebration of Legacy, Resistance, Creativity & Culture
4862 Parkside Ave Philadelphia, PA
June 12, 2026 - ALL DAY! 1-9pm

1-5:30 pm
Family friendly event open to the public with Art Gallery and ArtWalk tours, live art creation, portraits, performances, raffles, and most importantly community!

At 1pm-Join us as our Mayor and sanction the 8th Bell of the city!

6-9pm Art After Dark
An immersive view of the exhibit that highlights visual storytelling through painting, murals, live performances from your favorite local artists, photography, mixed media, physical artifacts and historical reflection. We invite you to engage with the artists, explore each gallery space, and celebrate the power of Black expression and legacy.

Patrons will have the opportunity to win free gifts, exclusives from the Villagers, Black owned Businesses, and a chance to get your portrait done by a live artist!

CALL FOR ART OF THE CULTURE!

We are accepting vendors for both the daytime and nighttime events! The first 5 people to email [email protected] get exclusive $20 vendor fee! We’re looking for creatives of all variations! Show what the culture IS!
