Got any plans for your family over Valentine's Day?
Join Galaei and Philly Family Pride for a fun event on Feb. 11th from 4pm - 6pm.
This get together is for families in the greater Philadelphia region where one or more members identifies as part of an LGBTQIA+ community, whether that's the youth, kid(s), and/or the adult(s) who are LGBTQIA+-identified.
It'll be a fun afternoon of music, line dancing, crafts, and a free raffle with lots of great prizes. There will be a teen kick back space, movies, and snacks, too.
Did you know that the Lenape are the people indigenous to Philly and the Delaware Valley? And that there are over 500 Native American tribes and nations within the U.S. alone?
Check out LEAP's latest showcase video for books, tools, and activities that you can use with young people when discussing indigenous cultures!
