Weighed in at 228.5 lbs this morning and hauled ass through 13.3 miles in 2:22:21. Very happy with that time and repped all the way through.

I’ve run Spartan Beasts before, which is the same length, but they are not the same. They’re both respectable in their own ways.
•
This is proof that it’s just mind over matter. I lifted 4 times a week, practiced Muay Thai 2-3 times a week, and ran 1-2 times a week (everything consistently except running - that was consistently over 2 months) and prepared myself in time for this. Hadn’t run in 4/5 years prior.
•
Did it hurt? Yep. Did I want to stop every time? Yep. That’s never an option though… because there’s plenty of doubters to prove wrong!

Preparing for this with , , , , and chiro these past two months was exactly what I needed in my life. Thank you gentlemen. Good work to all of you.
