Last Friday, the c.1730 James Logan portrait, attributed to Gustavus Hesselius, “came home” to Stenton, on loan from the Atwater Kent Collection at Drexel. Today we uncrated him and placed his portrait on the stair landing, where he will be able to watch the comings and goings of Stenton’s visitors.
