We’re managing pretty well here. The goats are unbothered it seems. Frank the pig has been rolling in the mud and swimming in his pool, on repeat. The sheep are not loving this weather but they are drinking a ton of water and resting under a fan in the shadiest part of the barn.

Thankfully, all of the rabbits live indoors but even so, the basement is warmer with these high temps so I’ve been refreshing water often and offering ice bottles to lay on if anyone looks uncomfortable.

It’s our responsibility to do the very best we can for our animals every day, especially in harsh weather conditions.

Stay hydrated, friends! 💦

Due to extreme heat, we will not be traveling this 4th of July. Keeping my animals safe and comfortable as possible is most important. Always! See you when the weather breaks. Thank you!
