Children First

Zaina and Kevin were in Washington, D.C. this week for the First Five Federal-State Summit and Hill Day, joining advocates from 15 states to strengthen advocacy efforts for children and families nationwide!

They also attended the Child Care Makes it Work reception, where they heard about bipartisan efforts to advance the Child Care Modernization Act. During the trip, they met with 13 legislative offices to advocate for policies that support affordable child care and early learning opportunities for families.
