Festival branding should be composed of simple, memorable elements that can be adopted and implemented by anyone: an insistent color palette, a typographic strategy, repeated forms, and often a visual device. This year we mixed typography in a playful way to suggest diversity, a sense of surprise, and how Fringe performances subvert expectations. Here's a small sampling of the design work we created for the 2022 Philadelphia Fringe Festival!
