When we offered piano jazz without distractions, we didn’t imagine a distraction as implacable as COVID-19. Neither did the pianists we presented and planned to present. Artists whose livelihoods rely on itinerant performances live in economic peril, while we are missing the music.

We didn’t invent exuberance. We were just promoting it. Today, exuberance is found and resounds online.
